Multiple Breed Rescue
Piper is available for adoption from Multiple Breed Rescue.
Piper was picked up as a stray with a broken leg that couldn’t be saved, but she is strong and fast. She is being house trained, crate trained and learning basic commands in a foster home. Piper gets along with other dogs, especially if they are willing to run and play right along with her. Piper is smart and will need a strong leader that will continue training with her on manners and obedience, and in return she will make an awesome companion.

Nancy is available for adoption from Multiple Breed Rescue.
Nancy was in a city kennel and they reached out to MBR when they realized she needs special attention and medical care. While she is young and very happy, she has an unknown condition that causes her muscles to fatigue quickly, making her a special needs dog. Nancy has been seen by several vets and specialists to try and determine exactly what the cause of her problem is, and no one has been able to tell us anything definitive.
Nancy loves to play and is very loving. Nancy is not a dog who will be able to take long walks/hikes or chase a ball for a long period of time. Some days she may be able to walk down the street, while other days she may not. Nancy’s back legs seem to fatigue very quickly and begin to quiver which causes her to lay down immediately (she is not in any pain or distress when this happens). Sometimes she gets right back up and continues her activity while other times she needs to lay for a few minutes. Nancy is full of love and life and is looking for a family who can understand her limitations.

Lance is available for adoption from Multiple Breed Rescue.
Lance found himself with MBR after his owner passed away. Lance is housebroken, comes when he is called and crate trained. He is a very sweet boy who loves to sit and cuddle on his person’s lap, or take a nap under the covers. Lance does play with toys when presented with the opportunity. He does best with a consistent routine, so Lance is looking for a quiet home with no children and with no more than one other pet.
Lance does have diabetes and, as a result, has lost his vision completely. He has adapted very well, though, and navigates around the house and on/off furniture without trouble most of the time. Lance’s blood sugar is regulated and, contrary to popular belief, his life expectancy is that of any other dog as long as he continues to receive the care he needs. The cost of this averages out to less than $35 per month for insulin, needles/syringes, and glucose test strips.
